People who need a root canal or endodontic treatment have an infection in the soft dental pulp within the hard layers of their teeth. The space between these hard layers is called the root canal system. During endodontic treatment, we’ll remove the infected or dead pulp and clean the root canals, then fill them to prevent any more infection.
Symptoms which can indicate a Root Canal is necessary:
- Sensitivity to cold or hot liquids or sweets
- Pain to biting pressure
- Constant or intermittent tooth pain
- Severe throbbing tooth pain
- Tissue swelling of the face
If you are suffering from any of these symptoms, we recommend that visit us as soon as possible for treatment.
